Ekphrasis is the use of vivid language to describe or respond to a work of art in an abstract, avant-garde interpretation— reconstructing and expanding on the themes, meanings, and/or depicted action contained in the original. Traditionally, the poet or writer is inspired by a piece visual art, but for this special Storyfort and Music Festival showcase, the featured artists have found their inspiration in sound and music.
