Welcome to Hallowzine: the official publication of The Spill: Tales of the Unexplained, a live scary storytelling night produced annually by Death Rattle Literary.
Submit your work toward our in-print Hallowzine III set for release the night of THE TALES OF THE UNEXPLAINED VII -to be held October 24th at 7pm at the Flying M Nampa Coffee Garage in Nampa, Idaho.
Show us your most ghastly work! Where’s that vampire love poem you haven’t had anywhere to submit, that zombie short story hiding in your desk, your one-man one-act Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde play, your (not-so) secret MCR fan-fic, the bigfoot smut; your devils, your witches, your skeletons; show us your stoney-est and bony-est!
SUBS DUE Sept 18th when the clock strikes midnight!
Fiction:
1,200 word limit. We look at excerpts from longer work, too. Submissions should include work in one file in .docx or pdf.
Comics:
6(ish) page submission limit. Single page Illustrations welcome too.Submissions should include work in one image file, .jpeg, .tiff or pdf. 300 dpi minimum. Zine format is 8.5inx14in so work must be able to be formatted in a way that fits on a 8.4hx7w page (including margins).
Artwork:
