Mara Adamitz Scrupe

Mara Adamitz Scrupe is an environmental installation artist, writer, documentary filmmaker and the author of seven prizewinning poetry collections. She is the recipient of many visual arts grants and fellowships, and she has won or been shortlisted for prestigious international writing prizes. Her creative work often reflects on ideas of place-ness, and her poems evoke and explicate palpable experiences of land, landscapes, plants and animals in extended rumination on migration and mobility, displacement and dynamism, voyaging and settling in.
