Nicholas Gerety Mott

Nicholas Gerety Mott is a writer and photographer based in Washington DC. He was born in Boston, attained his BA from Harvard College and received his MA in teaching writing from Johns Hopkins. His work has appeared in National Geographic Magazine and on bathroom walls of the seedier bars in town. His writing centers around memory, Catholic esoterica, queerness, addiction, humor, and loss. Nick currently teaches journalism and photography at a small independent school in DC. He is working on his first book of poetry.
