Alice Nelson
The Mantra
Alice Nelson (she/her) is a California Native who now resides in Idaho with her husband and 3 daughters. Alice was once the singer and lyricist for a rock band, and this is where she first believed she could be a writer. Alice used to be the host of two story telling podcasts, where she wrote, narrated, and produced her original short stories. She is now on hiatus from the podcasts, and working on a semi- autobiographical novel dealing with her experiences during the late 70s and early 80s as a student who was bussed into a white neighborhood to attend junior high school. But Alice still enjoys writing short stories, and is excited to be a part of the Oroboro experience alongside all of the other talented artists who have been published in the journal.
