Margarete Maneker
Margarete Maneker (she/her) is a Jewish herbalist and poetess raised in the suburbs of New York City (occupied Siwanoy land). Through her confessional poetry, she explores the tensions between ephemerality and tangibility. She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York (Lenapehoking). She has previously self-published a chapbook, Doll Extremities, and her words have been published in Frogwood Zine and the Lewis & Clark Literary Review. She loves lilacs, spring rain, and sweet nothings.
